- Be respectful. We endeavor to build online community and being respectful and kind to one another is imperative towards that goal. Abuse will not be tolerated and 3-strike system will be in place. Upon the third strike, the user will be banned. We try to foster an atmosphere where members can engage in thought-provoking discussion and critical debate. We do not censor the opinions of others as long as they are presented in a respectful and mature manner. Name-calling, ad hominem, non-topical, and intentionally inflammatory posts will be removed with prejudice and without notice.
- Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated. WitchesWay welcomes everyone of all sexual orientations, gender identities, races, ethnicities, cultures, body types, or able-bodiednesses. Bigotry will not be tolerated and in the event someone engages in homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, racist, etc., behaviors, they will be immediately banned without warning.
- Safeguard your and other members' privacy. There are sections of the forum meant for private groups and initiates of particular traditions. In order to be added to these sub-forums, you will need to be properly vouched for as a member in good standing of that group. If you wish to join one of the private sub-forums or have a vouch for a registered member who wants to join, please contact the appropriate moderator for that group.
- Do not share private sub-forum content. Information in the private sub-forums are to be treated as private, secret, privileged, and oathbound. Sharing, distributing, or revealing any contents of the private sub-forums to a non-vouched-for person will be grounds for a ban.
- Moderators will only be granted access to the sub-forums for which they are vouched. Every community must have a vouched moderator in order to be created to maintain privacy and ensure moderation occurs. Although the site admin will have access to the backend database, they will not be granted view/write rights to any forum for which they are not vouched. The site admin commits to not using the database to access the privileged information of private groups and in the event data must be deleted from a private sub-forum, and a vouched moderator is not available, the site admin will do so without reading the content.
- Report violations. If you believe a rule has been broken or privacy/security has been violated/breached, please report it to a moderator as soon as possible. Active moderators can be found by reviewing the Team link.
